“Hello! My name is Damiano Medina, and I’m the owner, designer, and sole operator of Scarlet Cabinets.

    After nearly a decade designing and selling cabinetry for other companies, I decided it was time to build something of my own — a business that would allow me to continue doing the work I enjoy while creating the kind of life I value. Scarlet Cabinets gives me the flexibility to be both a dedicated designer and a present husband and father — and it means I can be available to my clients outside the rigid hours of a traditional showroom.

    My passion for this work started early. My father was a hobby woodworker, and I spent years by his side in the shop. Helping with projects wasn’t just quality time — it shaped the way I think and work. That hands-on experience built the foundation for a skill set rooted in planning, precision, and an appreciation for craftsmanship that’s stayed with me ever since.

    One of the things I care most about is educating my clients. I’m a bit of a cabinet nerd and I believe that when people truly understand what they’re buying, they feel more confident in the process and more satisfied with the end result. So if we’re discussing materials, construction methods, or layout decisions, I take the time to explain the “why,” not just the “what.”
